About

The Creative Artist

Donna Fesler

My creativity for making came later in life. It was like I woke up one day and knew that I could make anything that I set my mind to make. So, I started making what I needed and when I needed it. It didn't necessarily come easy for each project either. I have taken the scenic route to many things in my life and that includes my creations. Creating things can have challenges that expand my knowledge and skill base for sure. Life should be about learning and I dive in head first, literally.  "No failures, just rerouting on the scenic route to success." Donna Fesler

What do I make? Fancy you should inquire. Where to start? I draw, paint, mold, shape, write, resin (cast, pressure, vacuum), solder, work with metals, electroplating, weave, braid, macrame, knot, string, wire, bead, laser printing/engraving/cutting,  repurpose, carve, sew (when I have to), work with adhesives, moulage/wearables, photography, cinematography, drone photography/cinematography, video editing, web design, marketing, tinkering, build/repair tech and self publish. The tools I use are many but here are a few: tile saw, dremmel, foredom, 40W CO2 Laser, mini-lathe, lathe, drill press, drum sander, belt sander, rock tumbler, UV bath, air compressor, angled rock grinder, hand held engraver, manual ring engraver, heat gun, torch, soldering guns, scroll saw, drill, grinder, polisher, vibratory tumbler,, pressure chamber, vacuum chamber, dji mavic pro and mavic 2 drones, sony a55, dji osmo, gopro 7, camtasia, and the usual power tools. I am sure that I am forgetting something, but yeah, plenty of tools to get a lot of creations made.
